Job Description
Role
Assist sales and marketing department in generating and qualifying new leads and moving them across the sales pipeline, until they are ready for a site visit. Should be equipped with well – researched information about target prospects, our company and all projects, build a solid understanding of the industry and sales process to spark meaningful conversations.
Responsibilities
Lead Management
• Generate new site visits through cold calling, email marketing, e.t.c.
• Identify best practices to refine the company’s lead generation playbook.
• Classify hot, warm, and cold leads based on their need, budget, and decision-making capabilities.
• Accordingly, take the necessary steps to convince the hot leads to come for a site visit and nurture warm and cold leads.
• Organize and keep the lead status updated in the CRM software.
• Maintain accurate records of all sales activities and prepare regular forecasts to enable effective forward planning.
Sales Management
• Understand how the sales process works and manage the sales pipeline .
• Participate in webinars, in-person events, conferences and network with peers and target audience to identify sales opportunities.
• Collaborate with other personnel in the sales and marketing departments to ensure the company’s goals and targets are met.
• Report to the Head of Sales on daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly results
Research
• Understand the pain points faced by the prospects during communication. Identify if they’re looking for specific features.
• Check for competitor products mentioned / used by clients and prospects during communication and the intent behind using them.
• Developing sales strategies to draw in potential buyers or to solicit new potential customers with other members of the sales team.
Customer Care
• Responsible for the client’s magical handover process.
• Overseeing customer service process during handover.
• Interact with customers on a variety of channels and ensure that all valid concerns are being dealt with immediately.
• Planning and training the standardization of service delivery.
• Come up with new ideas and innovations on the handover process.
• Excellent product knowledge.
Skills
• A bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing, Business or related field.
• 5 years work experience in a sales position
• Successful completion of coursework in sales techniques, marketing and communication may be advantageous.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, teamwork and customer service skills.
• Good time management and analytical skills.
• Good telephone etiquette and computer literacy skills.
• Eloquence in communication.
