ARCHITECTURAL ASSISTANT II:
NO. OF VACANCIES – ONE (1)
Terms of service: Permanent and Pensionable
Job Group: CPSB 11
Salary as per Salaries & Remuneration Commission of Kenya.

Requirements for Appointment:
For appointment to this grade, a candidate must have: –
 Kenyan citizenship;
 A Diploma in Architecture from a recognized college/institution in Kenya;
 At least five (5) years relevant post-graduation experience in the public or private
sector; and
 Competency on the use of ArchCAD or any other relevant programs in the
building sector.

Duties and Responsibilities: -
 Assisting the Architects in architectural drafting;
 Interpreting ‘Senior Architects’ notes to prepare Architectural details and
schedules;
 Ensuring all architectural documents and records are well kept for easy retrieval;
 Updating inventory of Departmental Architectural drawings; and
 Assisting Senior Architects in supervision of new or ongoing projects.
