Faith to Action Network is a global interfaith
organization promoting collaboration among
various religious and faith-based groups. Our
network spans Baháí, Buddhist, Christian,
Confucian, Hindu, Muslim, and African Traditional
religions. Dedicated to advancing family health,
women’s rights, gender justice, and inclusive
communities, we amplify faith voices, conduct
advocacy, and drive social and behavioral change.
Established in December 2011, our secretariat
is based in Nairobi, Kenya, with 110 member
organizations and 29 collaborating partners
across 34 countries. We pride ourselves on being
a southern-born, southern-led global interfaith
organization.
Overall Purpose of the role
Exciting opportunity to join our team as the
Deputy CEO with a primary focus on engaging
European donors and policymakers for
fundraising and partnerships. In this role, you’ll
spearhead fundraising strategies, cultivate
strategic partnerships, and drive advocacy
efforts to advance our organization’s mission.
You will play a pivotal role in supporting the CEO
in strategic operations and staff management.

Key Responsibilities:
• Lead the development of innovative
fundraising strategies targeting European
donors and funding sources, ensuring a
diversified funding pipeline.
• Design and implement impactful
advocacy campaigns tailored to European
policymakers and decision-makers,
amplifying our organization’s voice in policy
circles.
• Collaborate with the CEO to provide
strategic guidance and support, including
representing the organization and engaging
with stakeholders.
• Oversee program performance, ensuring
quality implementation, monitoring,
evaluation, and budget management.
• Foster a collaborative and high-performing
team environment, providing leadership and
mentorship to staff and consultants.
Qualifications:
• Master’s Degree in Management, Social
Sciences, or Development Studies, or
equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 14 years of relevant experience,
with at least three years in a management
capacity.
• Demonstrated expertise in international
development, fundraising, and advocacy,
with a strong understanding of European
donor landscapes.
• Excellent communication skills in English;
proficiency in French or Arabic is highly
desired.
• Proven track record of successful
relationship-building with European donors
and stakeholders.
