Jeremiah Nyagah National Polytechnic seeks a qualified candidate to fill the following position.
FINANCE OFFICER. JOB REF. NO. JNNP/FIN/2024/1 ONE POST
Qualifications, Knowledge and Skills
i. Bachelor’s degree in any of the following disciplines: Business Administration,
Economics, Commerce or Finance from a recognized Institution.
ii. Have CPA Part III or its recognized equivalent.
iii. Must be registered with ICPAK.
iv. Knowledge in IPSAS reporting standards.
v. ERP operations will be an added advantage.
vi. Be a team player with excellent interpersonal skills.
Duties and Responsibilities
i. Overseeing and Monitoring Expenditure.
ii. Preparation of Financial Statements and other accounting documents.
iii. Expenditure Review and forecasts.
iv. Ensuring effective commitment of funds and expenditure trends.
v. Planning, coordinating, designing, implementing and controlling of
accounting systems.
vi. Processing of the annual budget for the Polytechnic.
vii. Advise management on prioritization of projects and activities for the
purpose of financial allocations in the budget.
viii. Performance appraisals and advice on training and development of the staff
in the section.
ix. The officer will also manage and guide the staff working under them.
x. Perform any other duty assigned by the Chief Principal.
