Reporting To: Head of Treasury
Overall Job Purpose
The Treasury Sales Manager will be responsible for driving the sales function in the department focusing on new business which will grow foreign exchange sales income and also focusing on customer retention through effective relationship management.
Principle Accountabilities
• Actively participate in the implementation of the Treasury Sales Strategy to ensure the foreign exchange income and volumes grow to the required levels as per set targets.
• Ensure customer satisfaction through effective relationship management by doing regular visits, and timely feedback to customers.
• Build and Maintain Productive and strategic relations with customers, stakeholders to drive the development and delivery of treasury business solutions and revenue growth.
• Drive and Monitor Performance of forex sales through the branch network to grow revenues and volumes.
• Ensure that all branch FX transactions are advised and covered through the FX trading desk for efficient management of FX position.
• Acting as the primary point of contact for both internal and external Treasury Sales FX clients.
• Support delivery, availability and visibility of treasury products across Channels and contribute to new products development and/or customization.
• Perform any other duties as assigned by the Head of Treasury.
Minimum Qualifications, Knowledge and Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, or other relevant degree.
• ACI certification.
• A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a treasury sales function in a commercial bank.
• Broad knowledge and understanding of treasury products.
• Good sales background with excellent negotiation skills.
• Good money market and foreign currency trading skills.
