Job Summary
To provide overall leadership In enhancing interfaith collaboration in Kenya and the management and development of IRCK's projects and programs.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
• Lead and manage the implementation of IRCK programs and projects
• Act as the coordinator of Inter-faith meetings and collaboration
• Oversee the overall program and financial management of the organization
• Lead and manage the organs of the IRCK to ensure they are well-coordinated and informed
• Assign staff to different programs and Standing Commissions of IRCK
• Manage to ensure effective and efficient utilization of all resources allocated to or mobilized by IRCK
• Provide leadership in ensuring timely and accurate financial and technical reporting
• Oversee regular financial and program audits
• Direct and coordinate development of sub-national units
• Represent IRCK to the government, donors, partners and other relevant agencies
• Provide overall staff supervision and professional support
• Any other relevant duties that may be assigned by the Executive Committee
Required Skills and Experience
• A Masters degree or equivalent in Social Sciences, Public Health, Community Development, or any other relevant field
• Post graduate training in management.
• At least 10 years in senior leadership in similar Industry.
• Must profess a faith that is shared by a religious body member of IRCK
• Must meet the requirements of Chapter 6 of Constitution of Kenya 2010
• Strong leadership and managerial skills.
• Excellent people skills
• Skills in management or donor funded programs
• Good communication skills.
• Good public relations and advocacy skills.
