Job Description
Duties and Responsibilities.
▪ Supervise and coordinate all activities within the Credit Department at the branch
• Review Loan requests, Assess clients' financial status and Evaluate Creditworthiness and Risks to determine feasibility of granting loans.
• Market and Grow the Branch Credit Portfolio in line with the branch budget
• Maintain updated and clear member records on loan applications.
• Generate revenue through consistent delivery of disbursements and collection targets
• Establish. develop, and maintain positive relationship with Tai Sacco Customers, Partners. Area Leaders and relevant authorities.
• Monitor progress of existing loans to ensure efficient and prompt recovery of loans disbursed and interest matted and do follow up with members about loan renewals.
• Calculate and analyze financial ratios (e.g. credit scores and interest rates)
• Ensuring an exhaustive and comprehensive Branch Loan Budget has been formulated in respect to the Strategic Plan and Annual budget.
• Negotiate payment arrangements with customers who have delinquent loans.
Recommend policy reviews for Credit improvement based on experiences and industry/business trends
• Handle customer complaints and take appropriate action to resolve them
• Identify and provide strategic work solutions to improve the operational efficiency in the department.
• Mobilize savings. NWD's and Share capital for the SACCO.
• Filing insurance claims for deceased member's loan compensation and following dowse of such accounts to eliminate fraudulent transactions.
• Check and submit monthly routine branch reports on partials performance.
• Any other duty allocated from time to time.
Qualifications.
• Bachelor's Degree in a Business Related Field.
• Certification in Credit Management will be an added advantage
• 3 years' work experience in a credit management
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Must be 30-40 years
• Computer Literate
• Good Written and verbal communication

• Strong strategic, analytical and organizational skills.
• Experience in developing area and managing budgets
