Job Description
Reporting to the Service Operations & Technical Training Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for the following functions:
• Develop and present technical and non-technical training annual schedules.
• Conduct training sessions as per the training schedule.
• Carry out capacity building training for the Service advisors, Warranty Administrators, Sales Executives. Workshop Controllers and Quality Controllers among others.
• Conduct Customer Retention and Expansion training.
• Provide technical support and carry out training as per requests from fleet customers.
• Organize practical & technical instruction programs for assessment and evaluation of Isuzu EA Technicians and Indentured learners for skill improvement.
• Conduct and evaluate implementation of the Isuzu After-sales policy and Isuzu Dealer Standards (IDS) at Isuzu EA & Dealerships.
• Develop and transform Isuzu EA Training Centre to a centre for excellence.
• Develop instructional training materials in accordance with set objectives.
• Provide instruction & training on proper methods. processes and techniques necessary to perform work using instructional technology i.e. Internet and interactive technology when appropriate.
For appointment to this position. the successful candidate must meet the following minimum requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (Automotive option)or a business related degree with second class honours, upper division.
• Diploma in Technical Teachers Training.
• Minimum B plus in KCSE.
• Five years' experience in the Motor industry in a similar role.
• Excellent facilitation and presentation skills, effective communication, customer focus and attention to detail skills.
