Supervisor: Office Administrator
Position Summary
To support the implementation of office administrative services in the Institute; flow of communication; process information and institutional documents; transport, security; logistics and courier services; meetings, institutional events and assets.
Key Responsibilities
Duties and responsibilities will entail: -
(i) Preparing responses to simple routine correspondences;
(ii) Maintaining office diary and protocol;
(iii) Handling telephone calls and appointments;
(iv) Recording dictation in shorthand form;
(v) Ensuring security of office records, documents and equipment;
(vi) Attending to visitors/clients; and
(vii)Planning and schedule meetings.
Qualifications
For appointment to this grade, a candidate must have:
(i) Have Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education KCSE (Minimum C-);
(ii) Have Diploma in Secretarial Services from the Kenya National Examinations
Council (KNEC) from a recognized institution;
(iii) A minimum of three (3) years relevant work experience;
(iv) Proficiency in computer applications; and
(v) Fulfil the requirements of Chapter six (6) of the Constitution.
