Job Summary
To spearhead the growth of Bancassurance business across the organizational channels through supporting delivery channels, develop operating standards and grow revenues for this line of business.
Job Responsibilities
• Develop an insurance business strategy for day to day execution that results to business delivery.
• Achieve revenue target set by management.
• Coordinating with the company on existing/and potential lead generation to policy conversion.
• Handling policy holder’s inquiries, objections and grievances and providing them with timely solutions.
• Build mutually beneficial relationship with company and help in acquisition of clients with a promise of high standard service.
• Ensure timely submission of claim documents and continuously update clients whose claims are being processed on progress of their claims
• Ensuring premium is collected as per the laid down procedures on all insurance business transacted.
• Champion Insurance training for branches working closely with branch management to sensitize customers on insurance products.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory and internal procedures in regard to bancassurance business.
• Identify and leverage potential business opportunities seeking necessary support from the branch or Marketing Heads and participating in all business growth initiatives in the branch/ Regions
• Build mutually beneficial relationship with company and help in acquisition of clients with a promise of high standard service.
• Develop and appraise the workflow automated process map to ensure that efficient and conform to standards.
• Gathering and analysis of client’s behavior needs, for better product development and pitch.
• Conformity to financial regulations as provided for by IRA.
• Review performances of staffs/agents.
Job Requirements
• A university degree from a recognized institution preferably specializing in Insurance, Actuarial Science or business management
• Professional qualification in insurance or good progress in ACII or DIP.
• At least 2 years’ experience in the sales of motor and non-motor insurance products preferably within an insurance intermediary or Insurance Company
• Experience in Bancassurance will be an added advantage.
