Administrative Officer, Job Grade KLDC 6
Duties and responsibilities
The Officer shall be responsible for carrying out the following duties and responsibilities:
(i) Carrying out office administration and handling enquiries;
(ii) Receiving and attending to clients;
(iii) Assisting in reserving appointments and maintaining office diary;
(iv) Assisting in handling correspondences, telephone calls, office documents and
equipment; transcription; typing, processing data and reprography;
(v) Coordinating the general administration of the respective directorate/office;
(vi) Assisting in dealing with protocols and travel itineraries;
(vii) Ensuring good office layout;
(viii) Operating office machines;
(ix) Assisting in planning and organizing meetings, workshop/conferences and
seminars;
(x) Handling office petty cash and ensure security of office documents, records and
secretarial equipment.
Job Specifications
For appointment to this grade, a candidate must have: -
(i) Bachelors Degree in Business/Office Management or any other equivalent and
relevant qualification from a recognized institution;
(ii) At least 3 years relevant of experience
(iii) Certificate in Public Relations or Customer Care will be an added advantage.
(iv) Be proficient in computer applications;
