Job Description
Basic Salary Scale: Ksh. 38,270 – 49,950 pm CSG 10/JOB GROUP “K”
House Allowance: As per prevailing civil servant rates
Commuter Allowance: Ksh. 6,000 pm
Annual Leave Allowance: Ksh. 5,000 p.a
Leave Entitlement: 30 working days p.a
Terms of Service: Permanent and Pensionable
For appointment to this grade, a candidate must have:-
(i) a Bachelors Degree in any of the following fields: Electrical Engineering, Electrical
Control and Instrumentation Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering,
Electrical Telecommunication Engineering, Mechatronics or equivalent and relevant
qualifications from a recognized institution; and
(ii) been registered by the relevant professional body (where applicable)
Note:
Pedagogy and Practical experience in the relevant niche area will be an added
advantage
Duties and Responsibilities
Duties and responsibilities at this level will include:-
(i) undertaking training in areas of specialization in accordance with the syllabus;
(ii) preparing teaching/learning materials and schemes of work;
(iii) setting and marking examination/assignment;
(iv) carrying out research work under the guidance and supervision of a senior trainer; and
(v) supervising trainees’ projects and practical work
