Terms of Service: 3 – Year Contract
Duties and Responsibilities
An officer at this level will be responsible for coordinating any of the following programmes: - Gender and Home Management, Land Development, and Environment Management, Crop Development, Projects Monitoring and Evaluation, Extension, Research Liaison and Training, or Promotion and Development of Agribusiness activities. Specific duties and responsibilities will entail: -
i) Compilation of field reports, organizing and facilitating training programmes in liaison with relevant institutions to provide and maintain data for effective decision making.
Requirements for Appointment
For appointment to this grade, an officer must have: -
i) Six (6) years of working experience in the Public Service or Private Service in a relevant field
ii) Bachelor of Science degree in any of the following fields: Food Science, Agriculture & Home Economics, Agriculture Economics, Natural resources Management, Agri-business, Agriculture Extension, Agricultural Education, Horticulture, or any other relevant and equivalent qualification from a recognized institution.
iii) Certificate in computer applications from a recognized institution.
