Job Description
• We are looking for an experienced SEO specialist to manage all our client's search engine optimization activities. You will be responsible for managing all SEO activities such as content strategy, link building, and keyword strategy to increase rankings on all major search networks. You will identify strategies, techniques, and tactics to increase the number of visitors to a website and obtain a high-ranking placement on the results page of search engines.
Responsibilities
o Execute tests, collect and analyze data and results, and identify trends and insights in order to achieve maximum Return on Investment (ROI) in paid search campaigns
o Track, report, and analyze website analytics and Pay Per Click (PPC) initiatives and campaigns
o Manage campaign expenses, stay on budget, estimate monthly costs and reconcile discrepancies.
o Monitor daily performance metrics to understand SEO strategy performance
o Perform ongoing keyword discovery, expansion, and optimization
o Research and implement search engine optimization recommendations
o Research and analyze competitor advertising links
o Collaborate with others within the marketing department to manage SEO strategy
o Write compelling and high-quality website content, including blog posts and page descriptions
o Optimize copy and landing pages for search engine marketing
o Continually perform keyword discovery? expansion? and optimization
o Update content and website links for maximum optimization and search engine rankings
o Work with the development team to ensure SEO best practices are properly implemented on newly developed code
o Work with editorial and marketing teams to drive SEO in content creation and content programming
o Recommend changes to website architecture, content, linking, and other factors to improve SEO positions for target keywords.
Requirements and skills
o 3 � 5 years of proven SEO experience.
o Solid understanding of performance marketing, conversion, and online customer acquisition
o Understanding of search engine algorithms and ranking methods
o Experience with SEO industry programs, such as Google Analytics or Adobe Analytics
o In-depth experience with website analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Net Insight, Omniture, Web Trends)
o Experience with bid management tools (e.g., Click Equations, Marin, Kenshoo, Search Ignite)
o Knowledge of keyword research and data mining tools
o Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript development and constraints
o Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in SEO
o Comfortable analyzing high volumes of data on a daily basis
o Familiarity with WordPress or other content management systems
o BS/MS degree in a quantitative, test-driven field
o A team player and have a do what it takes to get the job done mentality.
