Job Description
PURPOSE:
To oversee and coordinate management of all service providers for both legal and non-legal claims such as advocates, garages, assessors, investigators, loss adjusters amongst others.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Appointment of defence advocates and maintaining an up-to date record for such appointments. Currently, the role lies with the Legal Assistants and the main aim is to separate this role from the unit for accountability reasons and also ensure that the Legal team focusses purely on litigation functions.
• Overseeing the sign off of contracts by all service providers in the panel as well as managing any complaints in relation to the services they provide.
• Oversee reconciliations and sign off of the service provider’s accounts to ensure the payments due are up to date.
• Negotiate and develop a strategic relationship with various providers and save on cost.
