Job Description
The Internal Auditor will be responsible for ensuring risks to the organization are well managed and that the organization adheres to its internal policies, systems and procedures. Key will be to express an independent professional opinion with regard to efficiency, effectiveness and economy of KCCB's operations; while evaluating the adequacy and effectiveness of the financial management and internal control systems. The successful candidate will possess a thorough knowledge of accounting procedures and have sound judgement.
Minimum Qualifications, Skills & Experience
1. Bachelor's Degree - Accounting or related field
2. Certified Public Accountant of Kenya (CPA-K].
3. MBA an added advantage
4. Minimum 6 years' experience on similar job
5. Membership to a professional body with good standing
6. A firm understanding of internal auditing standards and application
7. Good knowledge and understanding of major donors' audit and compliance requirements and reporting guidelines.
8. Demonstrable ability to work with minimum supervision.
9. Ability to exercise objectivity and discretion in Good interpersonal and communication skills
10. Risk management skills
11. Good analytical skills to successfully perform financial reviews and other quantitative analyses.
12. Good written and oral communication skills.

Job Grade and Remuneration The position will be placed at Job Grade 8 with an Entry Gross Salary of Ksh. 1,906,176 per year.
