Job Description
Reporting to the Head, Brand Communications, this position is responsible for the brand messaging and communication for KCB Group products and services. The job holder will help grow brand awareness, build the company profile and protect the organization’s overall brand reputation.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop and implement comprehensive brand communication strategies aligned with the organization's overall marketing and communications objectives.
• Collaborate with the Head of Brand Communication to ensure brand messaging consistency and alignment with the organization's brand guidelines.
• Conduct research and analysis to identify target audience demographics, preferences, and trends to inform effective brand communication strategies.
• Work closely with business segment leaders to understand their specific communication needs and develop tailored communication plans to support their objectives.
• Create and oversee the development of compelling and engaging content across various channels, including digital, print, social media, and events, to effectively communicate the organization's products and services.
• Drive the development and implementation of brand messaging frameworks and guidelines to ensure consistent and impactful communication across all touchpoints.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders, such as marketing, product, and sales teams, to align brand communication efforts and maximize cross-functional collaboration.
• Monitor and analyze brand communication performance metrics, including brand awareness, sentiment, and engagement, and provide regular reports and insights to key stakeholders.
• Stay updated on industry trends, market developments, and competitors' communication strategies to identify opportunities and recommend adjustments to enhance the organization's brand positioning.
• Manage external agencies and vendors to ensure the successful execution of brand communication initiatives within budget and timelines.
• Identify, profile and manage risks associated with brand communications.
The Person
For the above position, the successful applicant should have the following:
• Bachelor’s degree in communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Commerce, Business Administration, or related field.
• At least 8 years’ experience in Brand & marketing communications.
• At least 5 years’ experience in Journalism/Advertising/Communications, Multi-media/multi-channel management and Brand/Marketing Management.
• At least 3 years’ experience in Market Research & Analytics and Project Management.
