Basic Salary Scale: Kshs. 25,470 x 1,070 – 26,580 x 1,080 – 27,700 x 1,110 – 28,850 x 1,130 – 30,020 x 1,200 – 31,270 x 1,260 – 32,570 x 1,330 – 33,950 p.m.
Terms of Service: Permanent and Pensionable
Duties and Responsibilities
Addressing the psychosocial effects as related to patients' diagnosis, prognosis and future resettlement, and counseling of patients especially in cases associated with pandemic diseases, mental illness, HIV/AIDS, epilepsy, etc.
Requirements for Appointment
For appointment to this grade, a candidate must have:-
i.Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) mean grade C or its equivalent qualification; and
ii.Diploma in any of the following disciplines: Social Work, Sociology, Psychology, Anthropology, Mental health or its equivalent qualification from a recognized institution.
