Job Description
The applicants must fulfil the following requirements:
i. Must be a Kenyan Citizen.
ii. Hold a Bachelor degree from a university recognized in Kenya in any of the following disciplines; Business Management, Business Administration, Commerce (Accounting/Finance option) Auditing, Economics, Risk Management, mathematics, statistics or its equivalent qualifications from a recognized institution; For the case of the position of senior internal Auditor, the candidate must possess a Certified Public Accountants (CPA )(K) or certified internal auditors (CIA) part IV from a recognized institution
iii. Must have experience of not less than five(5) years in public service or private sector
iv. Demonstrated professional competence.
v. The senior internal Auditor shall:
• Have a good Understanding of County Governments operations, financial management and reporting, and Auditing;
• Possess an excellent knowledge on the objects, principles and functions of County Assembly;
• Meet the requirements of Chapter six of the Constitution of Kenya. 2010.
