Location: NAIROBI
Job Requirement
i. Be a Kenya Citizen;
ii. Served in grade of Senior Management level or comparable and relevant position in the public service for a minimum period of 10 years;
iii. Bachelor’s Degree in the following disciplines: Social Sciences, Public/Business Administration or its recognized equivalent qualification from a recognized institution;
iv. Master Degree in the following disciplines: Social Sciences, Public/Business Administration or its recognized equivalent qualification from a recognized institution;
v. Strategic leadership development programme training is an added advantage;
vi. Demonstrate outstanding professional competence and administrative ability in the management personnel and resources;
vii. Professional qualifications is an added advantage;
viii. Demonstrated understanding and commitment to the values and principles outlined in Article 10 and 232 of the Constitution of Kenya;
ix. Demonstrated high degree of professional competence, administrative capabilities and initiative in work performance;
x. Meet the requirements of Chapter six of the Constitution of Kenya 2010
Job Description
i. Advising the County Chief Officer on all matters pertaining to the borough;
ii. Coordinating Development and updating the Borough strategies in line with the overall vision and mission of the County;
iii. Providing overall coordination and provision of strategic leadership and guidance to ensure the Borough achieves its mandate through efficient and effective systems and work ethics;
iv. Planning, directing, organizing, controlling, managing and monitoring the internal and external operations of the Borough;
v. Liaising with and maintaining collaboration with the County, relevant government Organizations and other stakeholders;
vi. Assuring efficient management of resources and coordination of the Borough activities;
vii. Supervision of administrative and personnel matters in the Borough;
viii. Any other related duty(s) as may be assigned by the Chief officer.
