REQUIREMENTS FOR APPOINTMENT
For appointment to this position, a candidate must have:
i. Served in the grade of Administrative Officer II for a minimum of two (2) years or
other comparable and relevant position in the Public Service or Private Sector;
ii. A Bachelor's Degree in any Social Science or its equivalent qualification from a
recognized Institution;
iii. Demonstrated merit and ability as reflected in work performance and results; and
iv. Meet the requirements of Chapter Six (6) of the Constitution of Kenya 2010;
Integrity, Honesty and Accountability.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
An officer at this level will be responsible to the Senior Administration Officer for assigned
administration function. Specifically, duties and responsibilities will include:
1. Monitoring the achievement of divisional targets to ensure realization of
organizational goals;
2. Implementation of administration division resolutions and instructions of
the Deputy Director Central Facilitation Services for effective service delivery;
3. Supervision and provision of staff with visionary leadership that harnesses
the strengths of individuals and promotes their performances;
4. Ensuring general cleanliness of the office to ensure compliance with the
Occupation Safety and Health Act and the ODPP policies and to create a
conducive working environment for the ODPP;
5. Providing travel assistance to ODPP staff as required;
6. Arrange office equipment and furniture to ensure the office is organized and
that there is efficient utilization of space; and
Z. Supervising the performance of staff at junior positions in the division.
