Nairobi Technical Training Institute is a middle level TVET institution under the Ministry of Education, State Department of Technical and Vocational Training and wishes to recruit a qualified employee to fill the following position:
FOOD SCIENCE AND TECHNONOLOGY TECHNICIAN-1 Position
Duties and Responsibilities
• Undertaking repairs and maintenance in the Food Science department in the
Institute
• Report major repairs required
• Ensure proper usage, safe custody and inventory of kits, tools and equipments.
• Assist students on projects
• Organize for practical
• Ensure safety and security in the workshops
• Ensure general cleanliness of the work area
Person Specification:
• KCSE Mean grade of C and above
t Diploma in food science & processing technology or its equivalent qualification
from a recognized institution
• At least two (2) years’ experience in the position of a Technician or in a comparable
and relevant position preferably in a learning Institution.
