CORPORATE AFFAIRS MANAGER: EAPCC/CAM /08/10/2021
Reporting directly to the Managing Director, the Corporate Affairs Manager shall be responsible for developing, coordinating and implementing the Company's Communications and Public Relations strategy to build relationships and communicate a positive image &brand of EAPC PLC.
Duties and Responsibilities
• Developing and implementing appropriate Corporate Affairs strategies. programs. and policies for all stakeholders to achieve a positive image & brand.
• Designing programs to create and maintain a positive image of the Company to the external publics.
• Managing the production and dissemination of information with targeted publics through appropriate channels in line with the Company's mission and vision.
• Managing and ensuring timely delivery and production of all corporate communication publications including newsletters, industry magazines. documentaries, website and annual report.
• Managing the Company's Customer Care function to enhance client satisfaction in line with the Company's Service Delivery Charter.
• Managing and coordinating research into stakeholder's perceptions and image of the Company, to achieve positive reputation for the Company.
• Leading the Implementation of the Company's media-relations strategy to enhance goodwill and positive coverage for the Company.
• Planning& managing the Company's key events.
• Managing the development and implementation of proactive Corporate Social Responsibility programs.
• Developing and implementing crisis management strategies to alleviate crisis situations and maintain positive reputation.
• Advising senior management on key strategic communications to uphold a positive image and reputation for the Company.
• Preparing, managing and monitoring t he department's budgets.
• Leading. motivating and developing the departmental staff to achieve business and people objectives.
• Identifying implementing and benchmarking best practices in corporate affairs management.
We would like to discuss this position with Interested but qualified candidates who satisfy the following minimum qualifications.
• Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field, preferably in Communication, Public Relations or Journalism.
• Post graduate qualification in communication or Public Relations
• Master's degree will be an added advantage
• At least six (6) years relevant work experience, three (3) of which should be in management position
• Membership in PRSK/IPRA/ or relevant professional body
• Unquestionable character and integrity.
• Good team player, self-motivated. creative, innovative and focused.
Terms of Service and Remuneration
The appointment is for a contract period of three (3) years renewable subject to satisfactory performance and delivery of set performance targets. The Company offers competitive salary and benefits.
