Key Responsibilities:
Security Architecture and Design:
• Participate in the design and implementation of secure network architectures.
• Conduct security assessments and vulnerability scans to identify potential weaknesses.
• Recommend and implement security solutions, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), and data encryption.
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of security policies and procedures.

Threat Detection and Response:
• Monitor security logs and alerts for suspicious activity.
• Investigate and respond to security incidents in a timely and effective manner.
• Analyze incident data to identify root causes and prevent future occurrences.
• Collaborate with IT and security teams to implement remediation plans.
Security Automation and Scripting:
• Automate routine security tasks to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
• Develop scripts for vulnerability scanning, log analysis, and incident response.
• Stay up-to-date on emerging security automation tools and technologies.
Reporting:
• Effectively communicate security risks and solutions to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Document security processes and procedures clearly and concisely.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in information security, with a focus on network security.
• Strong understanding of security principles and best practices (e.g., NIST Cybersecurity Framework).
• Experience with security tools and technologies (e.g., firewalls, IDS/IPS, vulnerability scanners).
• Strong communication and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Professional certification (e.g., CISSP, CEH, Security+).
• Familiarity with security tools and technologies.
• Experience with Cybersecurity Framework.
