Job Description
Basic Salary Scale: Ksh 90,200 – Ksh 124,630 p.m. House Allowance: Kshs. 21,000 Commuter Allowance: Ksh 12,000 p.m. Leave Allowance: As provided in the Civil Service Annual Leave: 30 working days per financial year Medical Cover: As provided by the Government Terms of Service: Four (4) years Contract
Requirements for Appointment
For appointment to this grade, an applicant must:
i. Be a Kenyan Citizen.
ii. Bachelor’s degree in any of the following disciplines: Public Administration, Business Administration/ Management, Political Science, any other Social Science or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution in Kenya
iii. Masters’ degree will be an added advantage
iv. Minimum of 7 years working experience with prior leadership roles from public or private institution
v. Certificate in computer application skills from an institution recognized in Kenya
vi. Detail-oriented and highly organized
vii. Excellent verbal and written communication skills
viii. Expert knowledge of performance and operations management techniques
ix. Experience in performance and operations management
x. Knowledge of relevant regulations and quality standards
xi. Excellent organizational and leadership skills
xii. Aptitude in problem-solving
Duties and Responsibilities
i. Assist in developing and implementing plans and goals for the department
ii. Work with the director to coordinate and supervise daily operations
iii. Ensure compliance with regulations and internal policies
iv. Monitor attainment of objectives
v. Assist in budgeting and monitoring expenses
vi. Maintain scheduling of events and represent the organization when needed
vii. Create reports and submit them to the director or other executives
viii. Fulfill duties as assigned by the director
ix. Monitors the performance of the department and individual employees
x. Establishes and enforces departmental policies
xi. Ensures that departmental policies are compliant with regulations
