We are inviting applications from interested and suitably qualified candidates who are passionate about transforming lives in the society, to fill the following position:
RELATIONSHIP OFFICER - MARKETING & COMMUNICATION – MARCOM/03/24
The successful candidates will be responsible for Marketing, Communications and promotions of the Bank’s products and services across all the Bank’s segments, in order to meet the Banks’ targets for growth and to contribute to the Banks’ profitability.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
To actively participate in spiritual formations and rhythms and promote spiritual growth among fellow staff, customers and other associated parties, in order to maintain a focus on the Bank’s Christ-centered culture.
Develop and review the Bank’s marketing communication strategy and align it to the Bank’s strategies.
To spearhead the Bank’s brand positioning as a leading Micro finance Bank in our key sectors and conduct market research, intelligence and analysis in order to develop competitive product pricing.
Develop and execute marketing plans, and programs both short and long term to ensure market share growth.
In conjunction with the ICT Team, develop and maintain the Banks’ website and ensure that the content is relevant and updated.
Design, write and prepare presentations, press releases, articles, brochures, annual reports etc, for shareholders and promotional videos.
Generating and executing marketing campaigns across social media platforms.
Photography and video production for events and internal campaigns when needed.
Sourcing advertising opportunities and placing adverts in the press, radio or TV as appropriate to the product or service.
Liaising with events coordinators to maximize visibility at conferences, receptions and exhibition, including product and literature lists to display or demonstrate.
To implement and maintain corporate brand standards in all materials developed in line with the Banks’ brand book.
Perform any other function as may be directed by management from time to time.
Key Qualities, Qualifications & Competencies
Must be a practicing Christian who lives and upholds Christian Values, with a passion to serve.
A minimum grade of C+ (plus) in KCSE
Undergraduate university degree in Business related field i.e. Marketing/Mass communication/ Public Relations
Formal training/experience in Marketing, PR, Communication, Relationship Management.
At least 3 years relevant experience in corporate communication, PR, Marketing, Mass Communication or Marketing relationship management.
Good communication skills both oral and written.
Have excellent negotiation, sales and marketing skills
Strong knowledge and understanding of current trends in digital and social media
Strong creative, strategic, analytical, organizational and personal sales skills.
Excellent report writing and presentation skills.
Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills, and customer service orientation.
Must have a clear focus on high portfolio quality and business profit
Able to get on with others and be a team-player with excellent interpersonal skills
Between 32 to 40 years of age
