St. Lucie Kiriri Girls Secondary School is a full boarding school based on Christian principles. It offers both the local 8-4-4 system of education and the British National Curriculum IGCSE 'O' Level examinations. Applications are invited for the following positions:-
PRINCIPAL
The Principal must possess ability to manage School Operations and provide strong leadership to our teachers and staff members. The successful candidate will administer the programs in accordance with board policies, statutory requirements, administrative rules and regulations, and consistent with the school curriculum program.
The applicant must have a Bachelor of Education degree and a Management Course. A Masters in Business Administration or Education will be an added advantage. Must be computer literate.
She must have a minimum of ten (10) years teaching experience in a high school, five (5) years of which are in a private school. She must have served as a Principal for five (5) years. She must demonstrate high academic achievement as a Key Performance Indicator. Must show evidence of subject performance and trend analysis.
She must have integrity: must have good planning, organizational and managerial skills; sound understanding of the new national curriculum (CBC) and IGCSE; must be an effective communicator at all levels of the organization, with strong oral and written skills in English language.
