What you will do!
1. Business Intelligence

a. Implementation of the roadmap to create a data culture across the organization.
b. Lead organisational capacity building and understanding of data-driven decision making on operational and strategic priorities through onboarding, training and updating of data playbooks.
c. Set and update business KPIs in line with operational teams and delivery.
d. Provide weekly, quarterly and annual reports on business performance and processes with improvement and recommendations.
e. Implementation of revamped and new data analysis methodologies.

2. Data Life-cycle Management
. Design and execution data migration plans for transitioning legacy databases into new data systems.
a. Maintain a tracker for determining the health of org data on both legacy and new data systems.
b. Design and help implement architecture for end-to-end processes for capturing, storing, and visualizing data.
c. Design and maintain a catalog for all primary entities on which data is captured.
d. Identify and resolve data security loopholes within our data architecture.
3. Project Management
a. Collaborate with team leads to document requirements for data-oriented projects.
b. Define the roadmap for developing custom dashboards in collaboration with the Technology & Data team.


Key Competencies & Requirements
Technical skills

1. Proficiency in data analysis software SQL, Excel, R and Python, to the modeling of risks, perform complex data mining and automation techniques.
2. Working with CRMs: Possess ability to create and manage objects and relationships and workflows on enterprise-grade CRMs & ERPS.
3. Data Visualization: Being able to tell a compelling story with data to get your point across and keeping your audience engaged.
4. Data wrangling and intuition: Mapping and transforming data from a single raw data form into a different format and being a problem-solver with data-driven efficiency.
5. Machine learning: Knowledge on general concepts in machine learning.
6. A good grasp of math and statistics

Soft skills
1. Communication skills: Ability to convey ideas to various stakeholders both written and spoken channels
2. Research: Should be prepared to lead and get into researching to make the most out of the data they collect and use the findings to stay on top of industry trends so as to interpret the most meaningful insights.
3. Problem-solving: Must be able to find and troubleshoot the problem so they can continue to efficiently capture the data they need.
4. Attention to detail: Must be able to notice the small clues that point toward a larger message that’s hiding in a group of data.
5. Collaborative skills: Ability to work seamlessly with others to determine what types of questions can be answered through data analysis and collaborate with web developers to ensure that their company’s website is designed to efficiently capture the data they need.
