Job Description

Senior Inspector (Electrical)- JG ‘J’- (1Post)

Duties and Responsibilities:-
- Installation and Maintenance of Water Pumping Systems: (Solar and Electrical Pumping units)
- Inspecting and maintaining of electrical installations.
- Testing and maintenance of electrical controls related to pumps, plants, equipment and
tools.
- Perform any other duties and responsibilities assigned from time to time by the Accounting Officer, Director Water Services and Electrical Mechanical Engineer.

Requirements for Appointment:-
- A diploma in electrical/mechatronics Engineering or Electrical Technician Certificate
Part I from a recognised institution in Kenya.
- 3-4 years experience in installation and servicing of both Surface and submersible borehole
pumps
- 3-4 years post training experience in installing and servicing both solar and electrical water supply pumping units
- Be proficient in computers
