POSITION: YOUTH OFFICER II JOB GROUP CPSB 10
Number of Posts: One (1) Post
Terms of Service: Permanent and Pensionable
Basic Salary Scale: As provided for by the Salaries and Remunerations Commission
Duties and responsibilities
1. Develop an evaluation strategy for the implementation of youth development programs
in the county.
2. Liaise with relevant stakeholders and youths in implementation of youth development
programs to identify the needs of youths.
3. Coordinate with youth to develop a communication strategy to improve effective
promotion of youth development programs.
4. Plan and facilitate group programs, projects and youth events in the county to enhance
youth development.
5. Develop work plans on youth development programs and submit timesheets that
comply with administrative responsibilities.
6. Support local outreach programs, capacity building and education projects in
mainstream youth set up.
7. Record and evaluate youth development projects using the appropriate methods and
contribute to funding applications and reports
Requirements for Appointment
1. Bachelor Degree in any social science or other related field from a recognized institution.
2. Positive working attitude and ability to take instructions.
3. Ability to get on well with diverse work force.
4. Integrity and commitment to producing results.
