Job Description
This position reports to the Head of ICT and will support for the efficient operations of the University systems, databases and networks ensuring effective service delivery to the users.
Minimum Requirements:
- A Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized University in Computer Science or a related field.
- 3 years relevant experience in a busy big context preferably in a university.
- Cisco professional certification
- ICT security certification or experience will be an added advantage
- Working knowledge/experience in Information Technology with hands-on experience in LAN, WAN and Wireless networks.
- Experience with website development and maintenance
- Working knowledge/experience with IP telephony systems (VoIP) will be an added advantage
- Experience in ICT security administration.
- Strong technical aptitude and ability to research & solve complex issues independently.
- Willingness and ability to learn new skills and apply them as needed.
- Ability to effectively communicate issues and resolutions to all levels of the organization.
- Flexibility to work beyond regular office hours.
- Understand and adhere to PAC University Statement of Faith.
