Job summary:
This role is responsible for implementation of innovative ideas from staff by development of business cases, conducting pilots and collaborating with key internal stakeholders in the development, implementation and undertaking M&E of innovations
Key responsibilities:
• Conduct pilots and proof of concept projects/initiatives to determine the feasibility of innovative ideas from staff prior to implementation
• Assist in maintaining the implementation plan of innovative ideas from staff in collaboration with relevant stakeholders
• Conduct engagements with internal stakeholders to review and select high impactful innovative ideas for implementation
• Maintaining database of implemented innovations
• Assist in the implementation of measures that ensure that staff are effectively rewarded in the Authority
• Prepare documentation of the Authority’s Intellectual Property Rights in liaison with key stakeholders
• Following up and undertaking monitoring and evaluation on innovative ideas recommended to user departments for implementation
• Conduct internal awareness and sensitizations aimed at fostering an innovation culture in the Authority

Academic and Professional qualifications
Undergraduate/1st Degree in any field but focus on ICT or business
• Professional Qualifications in Project Management, Monitoring & Evaluation or Balanced Score Card is an added advantage.
Relevant work experience required
• A minimum of 3 years’ work experience in innovation.
