Salary Scale Kshs. 137,109 - 225,475 p.m.
House Allowance Kshs. 50,000 p.m.
Commuter Allowance Kshs. 20,000 p.m.
Leave Allowance As existing in the Civil Service
Medical Cover As provided by the Secretariat
Terms of Service Four (4) Years Contract renewable subject to satisfactory performance
Job Purpose
The position is responsible for overseeing the identification, re-engineering and deployment of MDACs services to Huduma Service Delivery Channels to enhance efficient, effective and convenient access by customers.
Requirements for appointment
For appointment to this grade, an officer must have:
1. Minimum of nine (9) years relevant experience, three (3) of which must have served as Program Assistant, Business Process Analysis, HK 4 or in a comparable and relevant position;
2. Bachelor’s degree in any of the following Social Sciences: - Organizational Design, Business Administration/Management or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution;
3. Master’s degree in any of the following disciplines: - Strategic Management, Business Administration or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution is an added advantage;
4. Certificate in Business Process Re-engineering from a recognized institution;
5. Certificate in Results Based Management or equivalent from a recognized institution;
6. Certificate in Computer Application Skills from a recognized institution;
7. Met the requirements of Chapter Six of the Constitution; and
8. Demonstrated a high degree of professional competence in work performance and results and a thorough understanding of national goals, policies and Kenya Vision 2030 and ability to align them to the Secretariat’s mandate.
Key Duties and responsibilities
Duties and responsibilities at this level will entail:
1. Mapping and analyzing business processes of services identified for deployment to Huduma service delivery channels in liaison with the Ministries, Departments and State Agencies;
2. Determining optimal staffing levels required to deliver services deployed in the Huduma centres;
3. Coordinating deployment and the implementation of re-designed processes in the Huduma centres and other Huduma channels of service delivery;
4. Continuously supporting Ministries, Departments and State Agencies in re-engineering processes of services already deployed to improve efficiency; and
5. Preparing status reports on business processing reengineering in Ministries, Departments and State Agencies.
