Rattan Direct is looking for a Human Resource Manager who will play a pivotal role in managing and driving the human resources function to support the unique demands of our online retail operations. Your responsibilities will encompass developing and implementing HR strategies, policies, and programs. You will be instrumental in attracting and retaining top talent, fostering a positive work environment, ensuring compliance with employment laws, and nurturing the growth and development of our employees.
Responsibilities
HR Strategy and Planning:
• Develop and execute HR strategies, policies, and programs that align with the objectives and challenges of the e-commerce industry.
• Collaborate with senior management to identify and address HR priorities and initiatives that drive business success.
• Lead the implementation of HR initiatives focused on employee engagement, talent management, and building a strong organizational culture.
Recruitment and Selection:
• Manage the end-to-end recruitment and selection process, targeting individuals with relevant expertise.
• Work closely with hiring managers to identify talent requirements and develop effective recruitment strategies.
• Utilize specific job boards, digital platforms, and networking to attract highly qualified candidates.
• Work with hiring managers to facilitate interviews, assess candidates’ proficiency in e-commerce practices, and make informed hiring decisions.
• Stay updated on the latest trends and developments to attract top talent in this competitive market.
Leadership and Employee Relations:
• Strong leadership of firmness and fairness
• Proven ability to lead organisational change initiatives successfully.
• Excellent change management skills enabling them to navigate and facilitate smooth transitions during times of restructuring, mergers, or other significant changes within the company.
• Cultivate positive employee relations and foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment.
• Address employee concerns and grievances promptly, impartially, and in compliance with company policies and employment laws.
• Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on employee relations matters.
• Implement effective communication channels to engage employees and maintain strong employer-employee relationships.
Innovative and Data Driven Approach
• Highly innovative and forward thinking, leveraging the latest HR technologies, tools, and best practices to drive HR efficiency and effectiveness.
• Have strong analytical skills and use data driven insights to make informed decisions and recommendations.
High Ethical Standards
• Impeccable ethical standards demonstrating integrity, confidentiality and a commitment to fairness and professionalism.
• Maintain the highest level of ethical conduct whilst dealing with sensitive HR matters.
• Identify training and development needs across the organization.
HR Compliance:
• Ensure compliance with relevant employment laws, regulations, and industry-specific requirement.
• Stay abreast of changes in labour laws and regulations that impact e-commerce operations.
• Update policies, procedures, and practices to align with legal requirements and industry best practices.
• Maintain accurate and confidential HR records and documentation.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Proven minimum 3 years’ experience as an HR Manager or in a similar HR leadership role.
• Exceptional communicator both verbally and in writing. Have excellent presentation skills, ability to convey complex information in a clear and concise manner and be skilled at influencing and negotiating with diverse stakeholders.
• In-depth knowledge of HR principles, practices, and e-commerce industry trends.
• Familiarity with employment laws and regulations
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities in a fast-paced, digital environment
