Title: Technical Sales Engineer – Renewable Energy,

Gross Salary: Ksh 120,000 – 150,000,
Our client in the Renewable Energy Industry is seeking to hire an ambitious technical sales engineer to provide site-specific or customer-specific design and validate design requirements to suit the client.
Key Responsibilities
• Identify, pre-qualify, and acquire prospects for the sales of large commercial Solar PV Grid -Tie projects and perform technical due diligence.
• Negotiate and structure Solar PV and Solar Integrated contract deals.
• Manage the sales request process for all project types and work within guidelines and set triggers to efficiently manage priorities.
• Performs site diligence, provides site-specific or customer-specific design and validates design requirements to suit the client.
• Support projects estimating and scheduling tasks as required.
• Act as a key point of contact between the client and the company in project implementation.
• Target and contact key decision makers in large commercial enterprises, hotels/resorts etc. to create a need and present new project opportunities, propose specific sales contracts, obtain fully executed contracts for new projects, and achieve business development goals.
Key Qualifications
• BSC. Electrical Engineering / Energy Engineering.
• Minimum of 3 Years’ experience in system Design and Project Management.
• T3 Licensed.
• Technical PV solutions support experience.
• Knowledge of Project Management will be an added advantage.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Excellent client-facing skills.
