Main Activities/Tasks
• Monitor and enforce safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment for all warehouse employees.
• Ensure compliance to Pharmaceutical Good Manufacturing Practices and Good Distribution Practices including knowledge of temperature-controlled storage. shipping and warehouse validation
• Understanding and experience of quality management systems (QMS) including Deviations Change controls CAPAs etc.
• Implement and improve warehouse policies and SOPs to enhance operational efficiency and productivity.
• Manage the entire warehouse operations including receiving, inventory management, order fulfilment process to achieve on-time and in full (OTIF) delivery
• Develop and implement inventory management procedures; monitor inventory levels and identify potential stock shortages or excess inventory
• Conduct regular inventory audits and ensure compliance with inventory control policies
• Lead and motivate a team of warehouse employees, provide training, coaching. and performance evaluations.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless coordination and efficient workflow.
• Analysing data and generate reports on order fulfilment metrics, inventory levels. warehouse performance, identify trends, opportunities for improvement. potential risks and implementing corrective actions.
• Manage and lead a culture of Continuous Improvement to enhance the customer experience
• Provide recommendations to management on process improvements and resource allocation
• Any other duties as deemed necessary by management.
Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities for Career Success
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, logistics, or a related field with proficiency in use of Microsoft office suite
• Proven experience as a Warehouse Manager or in a similar role, with a solid understanding of warehouse operations and inventory management, knowledge of safety regulations and
best practices in a warehouse environment.
Proficient use of warehouse management systems (WMS) and transportation management systems (TMS)
Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills
