POLICY ADVOCACY INTERN - RI/07/2023
The intern will be placed in the Advocacy, Consulting & Partnership department. He/She will be
trained to support the organization in delivery on the following roles:
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Policy analysis
• Analyzing the trade disputes letters received from the ministry of labour
• Conducting Research to inform FKE policy positions on Social, Economic, Labour &
Employment matters.
• Bills tracking at all levels of government.
• Preparation of executive briefs on Social, Economic, Labour & Employment matters
• Tracking outcomes of policy proposals by FKE
• Implementation of the FKE advocacy agenda
• Performing any other relevant duties as requested
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
• Bachelor’s degree in economics, Public Policy or related field.
• Attachment experience in a busy work environment in economic, social or employment
research
• Passion and interest in conducting Economic research.
• Expert level knowhow in use of statistical software (s)
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Access and Power Point
