Our client in the FinTech industry is seeking to hire a Head of Operations who will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the various departments and maximizing efficiency and productivity through extensive process analysis and inter-departmental collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
• Developing and implementing policies, procedures, and processes to improve operations and increase efficiency and productivity.
• Evaluating and implementing new technologies and systems that improve the infrastructure and support the organization’s goals.
• Maintaining a strong understanding of the organization’s business needs and working closely with other departments to ensure alignment with the overall goals.
• Managing the budget and ensuring that expenses are in line with the organization’s financial goals.
• Champion for defining, scaling, and operating processes along with project management excellence.
• Coordinate customer service operations and find ways to ensure customer retention.
• Manage contracts and relations with customers, vendors, partners, and other stakeholders.
• Manage a portfolio of technology projects to meet cost, scope, and schedule constraints.
• Leading a team and providing guidance and support to ensure that they are meeting their goals and objectives.
• Keeping up to date with the latest trends and developments in IT operations management.
• Provide support and guidance to stakeholders.
• Identify key skills and talent gaps in the organization and work to recruit, train, and retain talent.
• Ensures that the departments receive the guidance necessary to broaden and deepen their skills and continuously improve their performance.
• Identify and manage external vendors in the delivery of contracted work.
Key Qualifications
• Bachelor’s Degree in IT/ Business/Finance or a related field.
• 5+ years’ of Management experience in an IT/FinTech environment.
• Knowledge of multiple operational functions and principles, including Software development and Support, Finance, Customer Service, Sales, and Employee Management.
• Demonstrated experience in negotiating with business leaders to drive the effectiveness of the business.
• Ability to streamline or implement structures and roles that boost efficiency while supporting rapidly shifting business demands.
• Possess an influential personality and stellar leadership qualities.
• Experience in developing budgets and business plans.
• Superior negotiation skills for both internal and external purposes.
• Strong working knowledge of data analysis and performance metrics, using business management software
• Great public speaking skills.
• Strong networking and management abilities.
