Public Education, Awareness & Advocacy Officer (1 Position) - Job Grade 6 (Permanent And Pensionable) REF : 24 / 8 / 2023
Qualifications
1. A Bachelor’s Degree in Communications journalism, Public Relations, Marketing, Sociology or equivalent qualification from a recognized university;
2. Membership of professional body in good standing; where applicable;
3. Proficiency in Computer applications skills; and
4. Fulfilled the requirements of Chapter Six of the Constitution.

Responsibilities
1. Crafting and implementing the Organization's advocacy agenda;
2. Builds and maintains working relationships with key Organization's publics in the regions;
3. Prepares briefing documents for public events for staff and stakeholders;
4. Plans and implements efforts to advance grassroots policy initiatives and communicate policy positions related to the Organization's mandate;
5. Participate in developing and evaluating feasibility, efficiency and quality of Information Education and Communication (IEC) materials;
6. Assists in updating and revising the Organization's policies, guidelines, and procedures relating to public awareness and advocacy; and
7. Assists to manage the relationships with key stakeholders to ensure the successful achievement of programme outcomes.
