We invite you to apply for the prestigious role of COO in our organization with the Support Office based in Nairobi.

About Us;
Bliss Healthcare is the largest network of Outpatient Medical Centres in Kenya with 63 Centres across 37 counties in Kenya's Urban and Rural Communities providing quality, accessible and affordable healthcare. We are on an expansion plan and in the next one year or so the network shall consist of about100 Medical Centres.

Key Qualifications;
1. Proven Leadership: A Medical Doctor with a track record of successful leadership in healthcare administration or executive roles with a minimum of 10 years' experience at a senior management level and at least a master's degree from a university recognized in Kenya.
2. Strategic Visionary: Ability to draft and execute comprehensive strategic plans to drive the organization success and growth.
3. Innovative Mindset: A passion for embracing emerging healthcare trends, technology, and best practices to enhance patient care and operational efficiency.
4. Collaborative Spirit: Exceptional Interpersonal skills to foster a culture of collaboration. respect and teamwork among staff in support office, medical centre and Stakeholders
5. Financial Acumen: Strong understanding of financial management. budgeting and revenue optimization within a healthcare setting.
6. Regulatory Expertise: In-depth knowledge of healthcare regulations compliance and accreditation standards.
7. Communication Excellence: Outstanding communication skills both verbal and written, to engage effectively with diverse audience.
8. Change Leadership: Proven ability to lead organizational change, drive innovation and inspire teams to embrace transformative initiatives.
9. Hands on Management: Ability to regularly travel across the country to all Medical Centres with positive staff engagement. The travel requirements may range between 70 — 80% of the time.

Responsibilities; Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer. the COO will:
1. Develop and implement strategic plans aligned with the organization mission and goals
2. Nature a culture of patient centered care. clinical excellence and continuous quality improvement.
3. Foster a collaborative and empowering work environment that attracts and retains top tier talent.
4. Establish and maintain strong relationship with staff and partners
5. Oversee Business Development, operational efficiency ,and regulatory compliance
6. Collaborate with the CEO and Senior Staff Leadership to ensure engagement, transparency. and excellence in all aspects of the organization. Serve as a strategic advisor and thought partner, coaching and mentoring leaders for their growth, development, and high performance.
7. Lead the improvement, simplification, and clarity of operational systems, structures, policies, and procedures for high-performance management.
8. Lead, oversee and continually improve/adapt risk-management strategy, policies and practice (e.g, risk register, mitigation, monitoring, reporting and capacity strengthening) across teams in order to minimize risk to the organization. strengthen resilience and enable necessary risk-taking
9. Any other duties and responsibilities assigned at any time by the CEO in line with the overall roles and responsibilities consistent with this role of Chief Operating Officer.
