Job Description
A water Service Provider (water company) domiciled in the Mount Kenya region seeks to recruit a competent and results oriented professional to be part of its team.
Position: INTERNAL AUDITOR
Job Purpose:
execution of the Audit Plan while providing assurance as required by the company on the effectiveness of risk management, control, and governance processes to add value and improve organization's operations.
The Internal Auditor will report to the Managing Director and the Board of Director's Audit Committee
Job Specifications
1. Bachelor of Commerce Degree preferably in accounting/auditing option or in any business-related field from a recognized institution. A Masters' degree in a relevant field will be an added advantage
2. Must possess relevant professional qualification: CPA (K)/ACCA, CIA or CISA.
3. Must have a minimum of 5 year's experience in relevant field
4. Effective communication skills and ability to work with all stakeholders while maintaining independence.
5. Experience in the implementation or review of an ERM framework or a Quality Management System will be an added advantage.
6. Membership to ICPAK. IIA or ISACA in good standing.
7. Analytical skills and an eye for detail.
8. Commercial awareness, Numerical skills and excellent Planning and organizational skills. Ability to understand broader business issues.
9. Excellent report writing skills
Additional Requirements In addition to the above requirements, candidates must provide evidence of compliance to Chapter Six of the Kenyan Constitution requirements for integrity by providing the following documents.
1. Higher Education Loans Board (HELB) Clearance.
2. Tax Compliance Certificate from Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA).
3. Certificate of good Conduct from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI).
4. Ethics and Anti-Corruption Clearance (EACC).
5. CRB Clearance
