Job Description
KANCO is seeking to recruit a Monitoring and Evaluation Officer in Kakamega County. The M and E Officer will support the day-to-day implementation of the USAID Nuru ya Mtoto Key Populations Project activities towards realizing deliverables geared to ensure program quality, documentation and reporting. The M and E officer will also support engagements in the county with key stakeholders with the overall support and guidance of the Project Officer/ Regional Coordinator
The Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) Officer will be responsible for the design, coordination and implementation of the monitoring and evaluation, research, and learning framework of the Project. He/she will develop a systematic monitoring framework to improve the qualitative and quantitative evidence gathered by the Project. He/she will also provide technical assistance to the implementing agencies, particularly in relation to monitoring, reporting and governance issues.
Level of education
• Diploma in Statistics, Social Science international development, economics, or related field or other related discipline from a recognized Institution. A degree is an added advantage.
• Advanced certificate in M&E, statistics or economics preferred
• Excellent computer skills

• Resource development (mobilization and utilization)
• Training in Nascop KeyPOP M&E Tools and Manual

Job experience:
