Overall Responsibility
The job holder will be responsible for implementing marketing strategies of the Sacco by acquiring new business and covering all product needs to meet Sacco targets.
Key Responsibilities
• Conduct market research and carry out member recruitment as per the Sacco Policies and Strategies.
• Comprehensively and satisfactorily attend to all customer’s/member’s inquiries.
• Actively seek out new sales opportunities through cold calling, networking and social media.
• Set up meetings with potential clients and listen to their wishes and concerns.
• Prepare and deliver appropriate presentations on Sacco Products and Services.
• Create frequent reviews and reports with sales and financial data.
• Ensure the availability of merchandise for effective demonstrations.
• Participate on behalf of the Sacco in exhibitions or conferences.
• Negotiate/close deals and handle complaints or objections.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve better results.
• Gather feedback from customers or prospects and share with internal teams.
• Cross selling and upselling of Sacco products and services to existing and potential members.
Qualifications.
• Diploma in Sales and Marketing/Business Development from a recognized institution.
• Knowledge of sales and marketing principles, brand, product and service management.
• Proficiency in computer applications.
• A valid Driving License will be an added advantage.
• A minimum of one (1) year working experience in a similar role.
