POSITION: HUMAN RESOURCE MANAGEMENT AND DEVELOPMENT OFFICER I - JOB GROUP CPSB 09 'K' (4 POSTS)
Basic salary: 39,700 x 1,470-41,170 x1,520 - 42,690 x1,710 - 44,400 x 1,920-46,320 x 2,000 - 48,320 x 2,290 - 50,610 x 2,350 - 52,960 p.m.
Duties and Responsibilities
a) Handle Human Resource Management matters In the areas of Recruitment, Selection, Placement, transfer, leave, training and development.
b) Provide advice on Human Resource matters within established rules, policies and regulations.
c) Undertake supervision, guidance, counselling, mentoring and training and
development In the unit department and
d) Prepare briefs and providing secretarial services to the relevant Committee in the department.
Requirements for Appointment
For appointment to this grade an Officer must have;
a) Served in the grade of Human Resource Management and Development, Officer II Job Group CPSB 10/'J' or a comparable position for a minimum period of 3 years. b) Bachelor's Degree in Human Resource Management or any related Social Science and a Diploma or Postgraduate Diploma in Human Resource Management from a recognized University.
c) Member of the Institute of Human Resource Management in good standing d) Certificate in Senior Management Course lasting not more than four (4) weeks from a recognized institution.
e) Certificate in Computer Application skills from a recognized institution.
f) Demonstrate merit and ability as reflected in work performance and results.
