Job Description.
Duties and responsibilities at this level will entail:
• Supporting the development and implementation of human resource initiatives and systems;
• Assist in the administration of training needs assessment tool:
• Assist in verification and updating staff biodata;
• Assisting in processing cases for Human Resource Management Advisory Committee;
• Assisting in preparation of documents relating to recruitment, appointment, transfers, human resource management records and complement control.
• Managing the payroll: and
• Processing pension documents and other staff benefits
Job Specification.
For appointment to this grade, an officer must have:-
• Served as a Human Resource Management & Development Officer Il, KIMC Grade 8 or in a position in the Public Service or Private Sector for a minimum period of three (3) years;
• Bachelors degree in any of the following disciplines: Social clences, Human Resource Management, Industrial Relations, Business Administration or equivalent qualification from a recognized Institution:
• Post Graduate Diploma in Human Resource Management or its equivalent qualifications from a recognized Institution;
• A member to a human resource professional body/practising certificate:
• Attended a Senior Management Course lasting not less than four (4) weeks from a recognized Institution: and
• Shown merit, integrity and ability as reflected in work performance and results.
Terms of Service
• The successful candidate will be on Permanent and Pensionable terms of service. The Minimum basic salary for this position will range from Kshs. 49,329 - Kshs, 68,909 per month exclusive of allowances.
