QUALIFICATIONS,REQUIREMENTS, DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Requirements for appointment:-
i. A Bachelor's Degree in Procurement / Supplies Management or its equivalent from a recognized institution
ii. Membership to a relevant Professional body.
iii. Proficiency in computer application skills.

Duties and Responsibilities: -
i. Implement supply chain policies for the County;
ii. Adherence to strict compliance with rules of procurement process and supply chain cycle;
iii. Implement existing supplies regulations, procedures and system;
iv. Receive requisitions and specifications from users, preparation of tenders, and acquiring of goods and services
v. Commission procured services, issuing of goods and retiring of boarded goods
vi. Control of procurement/ supplies vote
vii. Ensure compliance with procurement laws and regulations Issuing instructions to depots and other departmental units
viii. Disposal of unserviceable equipment on a recommendation; and
ix. Plan, monitor and evaluate performance of staff against the set targets.
