Position: Deputy Director, HR Administration and Services
Reporting to: Director, Human Resources
The Deputy Director, HR Administration and Services will be responsible for the delivery of efficient and accurate HR administration processes
and services through the effective leadership and management of the day-to-day operations of HR Services and Records, Employee Relations
and Welfare, as well as Employee Engagement and Experience. He/she will also be responsible for managing activities to support the Human
Capital Management System (HCMS) while championing HR processes automation. He/she will oversee the HR Records Management system,
administration of employee welfare and wellness programs and be the point of contact for industrial relations.
Key Responsibilities
• Leverage on new and existing technology to automate and streamline HR processes
• Maximize the capabilities of the Human Capital Management System (HCMS)
• Develop and implement records management standards
• Lead employee engagement initiatives and ensure positive employee relations
• Conduct employee engagement surveys and forums
• Efficiently manage HR Administration and ensure seamless HR services in the Institution’s departments and branches
• Develop effective and up to date policies, guidelines and standard operating procedures
Qualifications
• A Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management or Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (Human Resources Option) or in Business Administration
or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution.
• A Master’s degree in Human Resource Management/Development, Business Administration (Human Resources Management), Organizational
Management, Public Administration or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution is an added advantage
• CHRP Certification, Higher Diploma in HR Management, or a similar HR qualification.
• Full membership to the Institute of Human Resource Management (IHRM); or membership to other appropriate relevant professional body and
in good standing.
• At least Ten (10) years of experience in HR Operations in a large financial institution, international organization, or a large Private / Public
organization; with at least five (5) years in a senior leadership role.
• Proven understanding of HR Service management and operations and experience with best-in-class HR Information Systems.
• Knowledge of relevant HR legislation and industrial relations.
• Ability to design HR policies, implement and manage organizational change.
• Demonstrable ability to lead and implement HR initiatives in an environment that is continuously evolving.
• Experience working with big data from a people perspective and ability to effectively leverage data to present insights.
