FINANCE MANAGER, REVENUE & TREASURY MANAGEMENT [HRAD/FIN/01/04/2022]
Duties and responsibilities
1. Supervising the day-to-day treasury activities including centralized cash and debt facilities management.
2. Ensuring client invoicing, collection, and payment of vendor invoices timely.
3. Managing of Company foreign exchange transactional exposures, debt portfolio hedging and supervision of foreign currency dealing.
4. Handling cash flow planning, financial modelling, analysis, and advice management on all financial matters.
5. Managing working capital requirements and ensure sufficient funds are available for everyday operations.
6. Managing the cashiers’ function, setting objectives for the division in line with company values, vision and ensure smooth running of payments and reconciliation processes.
7. Reviewing bank and control account reconciliations for risk mitigation and propose necessary adjustments.
8. Sustaining an optimal capital structure including handing any capital raising transaction/processes.
9. Overseeing investor relations function including presentations and communication materials for earnings releases, industry events to analysts, brokers, investors, and financiers.
10. Maintaining and building relationships with debt providers at all levels including banks and Development Finance Institutions.
11. Tracking all taxable income and ensure timely payment of all tax obligations.
12. Monitoring issuance of letters of credit for overseas supplies.
13. Facilitating preparation, monitoring and absorption of the Divisions budget.
14. Participating in procurement processes.
Person Specifications
1. Minimum twelve (12) years relevant work experience, five (5) of which must have been at a senior management position in a large organization.
2. Bachelor of Commerce degree in Accounts/ Finance/ Economics/ Business Administration (Accounts option) or equivalent from a recognized institution.
3. Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or equivalent from a recognized institution
4. Certified Public Accountant (CPA)(K) or equivalent qualification from a recognized Institution
5. Membership to the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Kenya (ICPAK) or equivalent professional bodies.
Terms of Service
The appointment will be for a contractual period of five (5) years renewable subject to performance.
