SALARY SCALE Allowances Kshs. 31,270-41,260
House Allowance Kshs. 10,000 P.M
Commuter Allowance Kshs. 4000 P.M
Leave allowance Kshs 4000 P.A
Terms of service
Three year renewable contract based on performance.
Duties and responsibilities
Duties and responsibilities of a Senior inspector (roads )will entail:-
1. Supervision of all road construction and maintenance works.
2. Preparation of work programs for all camps.
3. Ensuring that all ledgers, work tickets, log sheets, returns master rolls,
daily activity cards, are completed in time and submitted as required.
4. Advising on the priorities for maintenance programmes and required distribution of plant, vehicles and staff.
5. Ensuring the necessary stores, materials, fuel, and any other tools received to undertake work assigned is properly utilized.
Person specification
For appointment to this post the candidate must have:-
1. A higher diploma in Civil Engineering or its equivalent from a recognized Institution.
2. Certificate in computer application from a recognized institution and
3. Fulfilled the requirements of chapter 6 of the constitution.
