Job Description
Basic Salary Scale: Ksh. 31,270 – 41,260 pm CSG 11/JOB GROUP “J”
House Allowance: As per prevailing civil servant rates
Commuter Allowance: 4,000 Ksh. pm
Annual Leave Allowance: Ksh. 4,000 p.a
Leave Entitlement: 30 working days p.a
Terms of Service: Permanent and Pensionable
For appointment to this grade, a candidate must have a Diploma in any of the following
disciplines: General Agriculture, Agribusiness, Agricultural Entrepreneurship, Horticulture,
\Agriculture Value Addition, Dairy Technology, Agricultural Resource Management,
Animal Health Production or equivalent and relevant qualifications from a recognized
institution.
Note:
Pedagogy and Practical experience in the relevant niche area will be an added
advantage
Duties and Responsibilities
Duties and responsibilities at this level will include:-
(i) undertaking training in areas of specialization in accordance with the syllabus;
(ii) preparing teaching/learning materials and schemes of work;
(iii) setting and marking examination/assignment;
(iv) carrying out research work under the guidance and supervision of a senior trainer; and
(v) supervising trainers’ projects and practical work
